They have not been selected because they are "best," but to provide an introduction to the far more extensive research you'll uncover at the 4 databases.

  • An Ohio University (US) review showed Ayurveda (in preliminary, pilot studies) had positive results for depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's disease. But concluded larger clinical trials were needed.
